Mountain Home Cafe is a favorite with locals, and is a good choice for either breakfast or lunch in Estes Park.
The breakfast menu is what you would expect, with a variety of egg dishes, pancakes, and waffles, plus a few unique dishes like German Potato Pancakes and Baked Oatmeal (which we love).
For lunch, enjoy a variety of burgers, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and soups.

Mountain Home Cafe is located in the upper part of the Stanley Village, in the same parking lot as the Safeway grocery store. There is ample parking here, and the cafe is open year round.

My parents have lived in Estes Park for years, and this is where they always want to go to breakfast. Seems like every time we are there, my parents know 95% of the other diners, so this is definitely a local’s hangout. Food is good, staff is very friendly. Definitely recommend.
