The Egg & I serves up a reliably tasty breakfast in Estes Park. A favorite with locals, the have a huge assortment of dishes, from omelettes and benedicts to pancakes, waffles, and more. I’m partial to the Raspberry Granola Pancake.
For lunch, they have an assortment of sandwiches and salads, but you can always have breakfast for lunch, too!
The Egg & I also has a number of gluten free items on the menu.
All the food is reliably good, and there are so many choices on the menu, you’d be hard pressed not to find something agreeable.
Go early, though, because the place gets packed!
Fun Fact: The name “The Egg and I” comes from the 1945 memoir of the same name by Betty MacDonald. The book chronicles her life as a young newlywed on a chicken ranch in Washington State.
