Yes, Starbucks Estes Park is just like every other Starbucks in the world, with two main exceptions:
1) The baristas are genuinely nice, nice people. They are the reason that we frequent this coffee shop moreso than any other coffee shop in town. They remember our drinks, and make this feel like a hometown, corner coffee shop. This has been true for at least seven years.
2) There is outside seating by the river, along Estes Park’s Riverwalk. This is a great spot for people watching and for river watching, and is just oh, so so nice on a cool summer afternoon.
The free wifi and the recently revamped bakery selections don’t hurt, either.
You may hate Starbucks, and that’s fine if you do, but this location has managed to keep us coming back year after year, so maybe just once you can give them a try.
