National Park Gateway Stables sits just outside the Fall River Entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, adjacent to the Fall River Visitor Center.
They offer a variety of rides, for all levels of riders, into the National Park. There are 2-hour jaunts up to full day excursions, and pony rides for the littlest in your group. They also offer dinner rides and specialty trips, such as overnight pack trips. All of their rides offer spectacular scenery.
Gateway Stables has friendly wranglers who are able to assist all stages of riders. They will also talk about the flora, fauna, and history of the area as you ride.
Reservations are definitely recommended. You will want to be sure not only that they have a spot available, but also that they will have a horse that matches your riding level.
The horses here are well cared for. This was confirmed by one of our veterinarian friends used to work here while she was in veterinary school. She was pleased with both the management and the way they cared for their animals.
The parent company, SK Horses, operates two locations: this one at the Fall River entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, and the other, Cowpoke Corner Corral, at Glacier Lodge near the main entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park.

Quinn made my niece and I feel very comfortable during our two hour ride, despite the rain it was a wonderful experience. And never felt like a two hour ride. Thank you Quinn for a wonderful ride in the Rockies.
