Sombrero Ranches, located on the east end of Estes Park near the entrance to the Big Thompson Canyon on Hwy 34, offers horseback rides from 1 to 4 hours long, plus breakfast rides and steak fry rides.
All rides take place on the ranch’s 1,000 acre private property, ensuring peace and solitude. The property offers beautiful views of the mountains from a unique vantage point.
Although reservations are preferred, it is possible to walk in and go for a ride. One of the practices of this stable is to leave several horses saddled and ready to go at all times. We’re not so sure that’s fair to the horse!
