If you need a break from paradise, get your Jimmy Buffet fix and umbrella drinks at Mountain Munchies Tiki Room Bar and Grill.
There are two restaurants here. One is the walk-up burger stand known as Mountain Munchies, and the other is the Tiki Bar adjacent to Mountain Munchies.
The Tiki Room Bar and Grill serves up food from the same grill, but with an assortment of grown up drinks, including the largest selection of rum in northern Colorado.
The place is decked out in island-themed, tiki hula party decor, and has a great outdoor patio along the Riverwalk. The owners, Sally and Paul, will make you feel right at home.
Mountain Munchies Tiki Room Bar and Grill is on the opposite corner of the parking lot from the Estes Park Post Office, about a block south of the main drag.
The Tiki Bar is open in summer only. Be sure to call ahead to make sure they’re open.
