Local’s Grill always makes us laugh a little, because when they opened, their signage said they were a “world famous gathering place.” Except… they’d just opened. 🙂 Anyway…
Local’s serves up sandwiches, burgers, and other diner fare. They also have a full bar, and a screened porch in the front that’s good for people watching.
Both the food and the service can be kind of hit or miss, ranging from the mediocre to the really good. It’s not our first choice of places to eat, but if you’re already downtown, it’s not a bad choice to stop in for a quick bite.
