The Grubsteak in Estes Park serves up burgers, steaks, and wild game in a family-friendly environment. If you’ve got a hankerin’ to try elk, buffalo, or yak, this here’s your place.
Despite the ode to meat, they do have veggie options, too, such as salads, pastas, and portobello mushroom burgers.
They also have a very large selection of microbrews. Eat in the front dining room, the pub room (a room that can be reserved for groups of up to 30), or on the large, covered patio.
Our experience at The Grubsteak has been very hit or miss. Some entrees are good, others just okay. They’ve recently come under new ownership, and so far we’ve still found the food lacking, but have high hopes for their progress.
The Grubsteak is on the main street in town; there is a large parking lot behind them and across the river.
