The Safeway Fuel Center is located downtown, right next to the Schrader Shell and below the Safeway grocery store.
This is the biggest, newest, and usually cheapest gas station in Estes Park. If you use your Safeway Club Card, you get a discount of 3 cents per gallon, and up to 10 cents off with every $100 in groceries purchased at Safeway.
There is a small convenience store with the usual assortment of snacks, drinks, and automotive needs.
The downside of this gas station is fuel quality–even with their premium gas, our older car does not run as well as it does with the brand names.
