The Estes Valley Dog Park is a fenced, off-leash dog park, run by the Recreation and Park District.
It is located on the shores of Lake Estes, and offers a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains, plus shade for owners to enjoy.
The park is divided into two large fenced sections, with gated access to the lake, where there are lots of splashing and stick chasing opportunities. There is also agility equipment, and there are good spots for digging and playing fetch.
There are poop bags and trash cans in each fenced area. There are also water bowls that are filled sporadically by other dog owners, so it’s best to bring your own water. The Estes Valley Dog Park is not monitored, and it’s up to you to clean up after your dog and make sure your dog is behaving.
The dog park is located at the southeast corner of Hwy 36 and Community Drive. There is free parking immediately adjacent to the dog park, or park along the Lake Estes trail and walk under the road.
