About 15 minutes south of Estes on Highway 7, the Dao House has a fantastic view of Longs Peak and a rustic mountain appeal. Soaring ceilings with huge windows are bookended by a cozy fireplace.
The restaurant is one of the most conscious in the area, serving only organic, locally sourced (where possible) and in-season ingredients. The menu varies greatly depending on season, but typically includes a meat entree and multiple vegan choices. With vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options, this is an excellent choice for those with dietary restrictions.
They also have a bar that serves local beers, cocktails, and mixed drinks.
