Bristlecone Inn

Bristlecone InnThe Bristlecone Inn is just steps away from downtown Estes Park in a beautiful historic craftsman-style house.  In addition to guest rooms, there is also a historic one bedroom log cabin that used to sit inside Rocky Mountain National Park but was moved to its current location in the 1960s.

The inn has a private event room and outdoor patio area, making it an excellent choice for weddings, rehearsal dinners, business retreats, and other small gatherings.

The small size and convenient location make the Bristlecone Inn a perfect spot for a romantic Estes Park getaway.

  1. Good place to stay in the old town area. Close to shops and dining. We stayed here 3 nights. Very comfortable accommodations however no AC and it was VERY WARM (HOT) during day and part of the evening. We had to keep windows open and it wasn’t until late in the evening that it cooled off enough to sleep comfortably. Also there was no housekeeping during our stay. The upper level has a shared bath but we were only ones on this level so we were able to make it private by locking the upper door by the stairs.

I will say that the host was very accommodating since our car broke down in the mountains and we were stranded with no vehicle. Waldo made sure we had a way to get around and even suggested a repair shop. There is a cute dog that the owner brings by during the day.

This is a wedding venue so there are no B&B or hotel/motel niceties. There are plenty of great places to eat near the inn.

We would definitely consider staying here again should we journey back to Estes Park in the future. — the best part was seeing a female Elk in their yard the first morning there.
