Mountain Munchies is an independent, family-run fast food stand located along the Riverwalk in downtown Estes Park, Colorado.
We’re partial to the “Mountain Dog”, a 1/2-lb. all-beef hot dog, and the natural beef burger with a side of sweet potato fries and a smoothie.
In addition to that yumminess, they serve up brats, chicken, fish, pork, fried pickles, corn dogs, and a deep fried bacon-wrapped hot dog, in case your arteries weren’t feeling stuffy enough.
Mountain Munchies is on the opposite corner of the parking lot from the Estes Park Post Office, about a block south of the main drag.
In the same building as Mountain Munchies is the Tiki Bar, which is an island-themed bar operated by the same family.
They are both open in summer only. Be sure to call ahead to make sure they’re open.
