The Estes Park 5&10 is an absurdly cool and funky little five and dime. It’s just across the street from the large tower of the Park Theatre.
The selection here is eclectic, with an assortment of housewares, office supplies, toys, seasonal items, souvenirs and miscellany. Prices are cheap and kitsch abounds.
You can find the most random things, such as a 1980s souvenir from Six Flags Over Texas next to a cheesy Estes Park t-shirt or a stick-on mustache. It’s great fun.
Be sure to bring cash or check, though, because the Estes Park 5&10 doesn’t take credit cards. (Update 2021: fearless readers have reported that the 5&10 has moved into the digital age, and now takes credit cards. Yeehaw!)
